Time to buzz the tower

Good morning! 👋

I’ll be off the grid for the next few days attending our son’s graduation.

I expect volatility to rise and the debt ceiling debate, PPI, and CPI to move to the front of the media’s mind.

Many investors will struggle, but there’s simply no reason to do that.

Keep three simple things in mind...

1. Remain focused on the world’s best companies. Ignore the rest because they’re a risk you neither want nor need in your portfolio.
2. Do NOT let the headlines throw you. Wall Street has spent billions learning to push your buttons. Allowing that to happen makes you easier to separate from your money.
3. Play offense even if you must think defensively first to do it. Most investors will never understand the nuance, which, in turn, creates plenty of opportunity for those who do.
