☕ Brain Break!
Jun 14, 2024Good morning! 👋
I often say that the real ‘flex’ is being able to walk away from your screens.
Particularly on days like today where there isn’t anything in the news that we haven’t already talked about in great detail.
I hope you’ll think about doing something similar.
Brain breaks are super important.
They keep us focused, allow us to recharge, and often to embrace new thinking and ideas, too.
You’ve earned it!
Companies we discuss frequently have held their positions on the proverbial leaderboard, exactly as I told you they would. Examples include Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, CrowdStrike and more.
Now, there’s another leg up building.
Makes sense.
Digitalization – the largest of the 5Ds that we use to guide our path to profits as part of the One Bar Ahead® investing approach – is by far the biggest single investing theme in recorded human history.
The fireworks could start today.
That’s because the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) is going to rebalance. (Read)
Apple and Microsoft represent roughly 22% each while Nvidia is just 6%.
Three guesses what’ll happen when the computers get to work. My back of the envelope calculations suggest this could bring another $10-12B a ‘running.
People thought I was outta of my mind when I said $1,000 and a split when the dang stock was trading under $130 in October 2022 and Wall Street thought the wheels were coming off the wagon. I think NVDA will take out $200-230 far more quickly than people realize.
Tesla is very much the same situation, only for different reasons.
CEO “Unka” Elon Musk isn’t wasting time following his pay package vote and has already noted that robotics could make Tesla a $25T company. Crazy as that sounds, I learned a long time ago not to bet against the man.
I believe Tesla will be 3-5X more valuable a few years from now, a view shared by billionaire investor Ron Baron, incidentally.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ducati is calling
So I’m gonna collect my bride, some caffeine and gasoline... in that order.
Here’s a quick shot of where we’ll be riding later today.
The terrain is a lot like the Dolomites where there's jaw-dropping scenery around every corner.
We find the rocky mountain towers, huge cliff faces and twisties hard to beat. Bigfoot sightings are optional, of course. 😊
If you’re out this way and want to do a little exploring of your own, try taking Washington State Route 20 from Discovery Bay on the western side of the state to Newport, Washington on the Idaho border just west of the Pend Oreille River.
We’ll join you if we can.
And if you’re in the Dolomites, I suggest you start in Resia Pass (Austria) then hit the Central Alps, the Stelvio and Tonale Passes before overnighting in Madonna di Campiglio or a nearby village.
- Stay focused.
- Stay frosty.
- Stay fun!
YOU got this – I promise.
As always, let’s finish the week strong.
Best regards for health and wealth,
Keith 😊
